Make Your Own X-rays using a plastic tape

The researchers found something "new", using a transparent plastic tape, roll of duct tape will release X-rays when removed from the roll.

This discovery confirmed the theory that once widespread in the 1930s, that the unrolled tape releases energy not only in the form of visible light, but also X-ray Try to be in a dark room and open the roll of tape, you will see the light out of the duct tape. This unique phenomenon is referred to as triboluminescent and is caused by the movement of one surface over another surface.

Carlos Camara of University of California, Los Angeles, using a machine designed fatherly undoing the tape and put it in a vacuum. The process was enough to make the bones in the fingers visible on x-ray films.

"If you unroll in a bright, then you only get visible light only, no X-Ray," he added. "This happens because the gas in the air to make pegerakan electrons become slow, so it can not reach the frequency of X Ray"

Anybody want to try to make "artificial light"
